Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review ashley h Arrow in the Dust is a decent film. It is about a calvary deserter who risks his life to warn and protect a wagon train from an impending Indian attack. Sterling Hayden and Coleen Gray give good performances. The screenplay is a little slow places with some entertaining moment. Lesley Selander did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the action and adventure. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member an A western from indy allied artists Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Fairly standard cavalry story that's really only of note for the presence of stern-voiced Sterling Hayden in the lead. Coleen Gray co-stars, who would go onto co-star again with Hayden in Stanley Kubrick's seminal heist film, "The Killing." The film was also of interest to me because it's never been released on video, so it's always fun to catch these rarities on TCM.
