Desperate to have a buzz-worthy film, writer/director Ray McMichael (Dan O'Donahue) hires his friend Weston Craig (Chris Hardwick) to improve his latest script. The insufferable Weston proceeds to make the film as trendy as possible, rendering the original story nearly unrecognizable. Before Ray can reclaim his work, it has become a sensation, and he is severely disillusioned about Hollywood. To add to his disappointment, Ray also finds out the girl of his dreams isn't who he thought she was.
