I watched this movie a few months after it came out. A few years later, I still bring it up as a prime example of why Disney shouldn't be trusted with book adaptations. Before this movie, I thought no movie could be worse than either of the Percy Jackson movies. I was wrong... the movie reads as a mess. The casting and acting were both subpar, and they changed around the plot to fit twelve books into two hours (turning it into unrecognizable dog poop of a story). Please, if you value your sanity and love of the series, don't watch this movie.
