Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed much about this film, but it purposefully left the audience in want. No clear plot resolution, a camera that was distracted away from characters and action, and muted performances left me befuddled. These choices made the ennui and hidden anxiety of the characters clear and it was (remarkably) the first Italian film that didn't romanticize a country that has as many problems as the Ukraine--which are words taken almost directly from the protagonist.
