A low-key but winningly likable rom-zom-com. Go to Full Review

As We Know It hits a lot of the expected beats of a zombie comedy. But the characters are likable, the makeup effects are strong, and the ending is genuinely surprising. Go to Full Review

Packed with moments of pathos and lifting liberally from the Edgar Wright playbook of zombie romcoms, As We Know It works wonders with its limited canvas propped up by performances that lean into the ridiculous premise. Go to Full Review

It feels almost improvised... and unfortunately not that well improvised. Go to Full Review

One of the most annoying types of genre movies is when the elements of that genre are sprinkled on to a plain vanilla story. Such is the case with AS WE KNOW IT, a relationship comedy set – for no discernible reason – during a zombie apocalypse. Go to Full Review

Wonderwall 12/03/2023 There are moments in this film where I was like woah.. this is unlike any zombie film I’ve ever seen.. and in a very good way. Definitely more of a social commentary than expected and very entertaining. See more Joe B Feb 10 As We Know It is a delightful breath of fresh air in the zombie rom-com genre. Visually, it’s a nostalgic treat, with cinematography that practically begs you to stop and take in every beautifully shot scene. The performances are a standout, breathing life (and death) into the quirky characters and creating moments that you’ll be thinking about long after the credits roll. And of course, The Prairie Oyster – let’s just say, it’s a concoction you’ll never forget. See more Jeff H Jan 14 It’s was ok, at times it started drag with too much touchy feely dialogue. The script for the main characters seem like that were written for some more famous actors he were to old to play the parts! What seemed like a feel good ending was instead flipped into your typical everyone dies at the end of the typical zombie movie! See more Bernie L 07/02/2024 So yeah what’s cool about this movie is that it depicts a more unconventional zombie outbreak but it’s bordering on what one might actually do vs what one might imagine they’d do in an outbreak. Think the cast of Seinfeld gets trapped in Jerry’s apartment during the zombie apocalypse. The zombies are cool sure but the relationships between the 3 leads is what sold it for me and I definitely identified with them and how I might act in a zombie apocalypse situation. This was definitely a throw back taking place in the late 90s and provided some sweet moments too. See more Andy B 05/24/2024 Ah, okay. So I'm looking at this as it sounds interesting and literally every single audience review to date is gushing praise. Also, on closer inspection every single audience review to date is written by people who have apparently only seen one movie ever. This one. I'll admit I've been fooled way too many times by this tactic in the past so I'm going to skip the watching part and just jump straight to the part where I complain that the movie sucks and all the audience reviews are obvious fakes. Which they are. I appreciate that you want to promote your work but having friends open a RT account to do it is a desperation tactic favoured by makers of really shitty films and is not the way. See more Aaron D 03/24/2024 Best soundtrack of any movie I've seen in a few years!! And Mike Castle gives a great performance! 👌🏼 See more Read all reviews
