Simon Foster Screen-Space A low-key but winningly likable rom-zom-com. Rated: 3/5 Dec 19, 2023 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat As We Know It hits a lot of the expected beats of a zombie comedy. But the characters are likable, the makeup effects are strong, and the ending is genuinely surprising. Rated: 7.5/10 Dec 6, 2023 Full Review Martin Carr martincarr.co.uk Packed with moments of pathos and lifting liberally from the Edgar Wright playbook of zombie romcoms, As We Know It works wonders with its limited canvas propped up by performances that lean into the ridiculous premise. Dec 4, 2023 Full Review Manuel Betancourt FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) All I kept wondering was "why?" Nov 29, 2023 Full Review Andy Klein FilmWeek (KPCC - NPR Los Angeles) It feels almost improvised... and unfortunately not that well improvised. Nov 29, 2023 Full Review Daniel M. Kimmel North Shore Movies One of the most annoying types of genre movies is when the elements of that genre are sprinkled on to a plain vanilla story. Such is the case with AS WE KNOW IT, a relationship comedy set – for no discernible reason – during a zombie apocalypse. Rated: 2/5 Nov 22, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Bernie L So yeah what’s cool about this movie is that it depicts a more unconventional zombie outbreak but it’s bordering on what one might actually do vs what one might imagine they’d do in an outbreak. Think the cast of Seinfeld gets trapped in Jerry’s apartment during the zombie apocalypse. The zombies are cool sure but the relationships between the 3 leads is what sold it for me and I definitely identified with them and how I might act in a zombie apocalypse situation. This was definitely a throw back taking place in the late 90s and provided some sweet moments too. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/02/24 Full Review Andy B Ah, okay. So I'm looking at this as it sounds interesting and literally every single audience review to date is gushing praise. Also, on closer inspection every single audience review to date is written by people who have apparently only seen one movie ever. This one. I'll admit I've been fooled way too many times by this tactic in the past so I'm going to skip the watching part and just jump straight to the part where I complain that the movie sucks and all the audience reviews are obvious fakes. Which they are. I appreciate that you want to promote your work but having friends open a RT account to do it is a desperation tactic favoured by makers of really shitty films and is not the way. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/28/24 Full Review Aaron D Best soundtrack of any movie I've seen in a few years!! And Mike Castle gives a great performance! 👌🏼 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/24/24 Full Review Darren S This movie appeared from nowhere, an instagram add on the Undead Symphony feed. A mid 90s LA zom rom com that kinda soft peddles the zom and the rom bit. It is beautifully filmed, that a glorious orangey hue, nice detail, great banter between miserable heartbroken writer James played by Mike Castle and Oliver Cooper's Bruce Springstein, his best friend as they try to survive the zombie apocalypse caused infected locally sourced soy milk. Add Chris Parnell who can do no wrong in our yes and Pam Grier, a college rock soundtrack and plenty of movie references and this is very watcheable. Not one on the radar of the hardcore zombie fans who drone on about Romero Romero Romero, but still well put together and very watcheable. A nice and relaxed viewing. We enjoyed this movie scoring it 6/10 The Undead Symphony Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review Pitwell Loved the movie, such a fun watch! Zombies, Comedy, Star wars, Romance. What's not to love? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Aardvark T Stumbled upon this gem last night. This was so fun. Oliver Cooper is hilarious. Chris Parnell is perfectly utilized here. Writing, directing and acting is top notch. Hope more people see it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews
