Reviews 50% Fewer than 50 Ratings Audience Score The asphalt is burning, the tires are turning - at a breakneck pace and in tuned cars it goes from the Trollstigen mountain road in Norway via Sweden and Denmark to the Nürburgring in Germany - where Roy (Anders Baasmo Christiansen) has to win a race or lose his fiancee Sylvia (Jenny Skavlan). A bet that the crazy car enthusiast made on the wedding night after one too many drinks with Roy's challenger Robin (Alexandra Maria Lara) who likes the beautiful bride. On the ludicrous and turbulent road trip, Roy not only meets tough adversaries (Henning Baum, The BossHoss) and hot chicks (Ruby O. Fee), but soon also the police (Milan Peschel, Peter Kurth) are after him. But that's not all: Roy has to deal with two namesakes (Kostja Ullmann), the import hit Wencke Myhre and a dead corpse in the trunk and then on top of it all suddenly his car is gone. But giving up is not an option for Roy because: "The race isn't over until it's over." Read More Read Less Watch on Netflix Stream Now

Roger Moore Movie Nation A good -- a "girhode" car comedy more on the order of "Cannonball Run" than "Fast and Furious." Rated: 2/4 Jan 5, 2021 Full Review John Serba Decider Asphalt Burning - both the movie and the actual thing - stinks. Jan 4, 2021 Full Review Jonathon Wilson Ready Steady Cut I must confess that I have no idea what Asphalt Burning is really about, who it's for, what the tone or genre is supposed to be, or why anyone thought it would be acceptable to build the vehicular stunts out of PS2-era computer graphics. William D Masterful, self aware, and hilarious Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/10/22 Full Review yukiko h Norway comedy , recently , I have interesting to Nordic comedy movies . Car racing comedy , Porche vs Mustang . Roy wants to marry his girl friend , but , German woman came and interrupted his wedding . Then , he and German woman have car racing . Norway to Germany with car trip . I didn't big laugh , but , it's fun . Sweden to Danmark to Germany are connecting by some bridges on the sea . Viewing is nice . Italian peninsular and Sicilian island aren't connecting by bridge , but , Nordic countries are rich countries each other than Italia , because , they can build long bridges . Then , I like European comedy , British , French , Italian , they're pretty fun , I love these . A few years ago , excellent French car trip comedy movie was so nice . I love this one so much . This car racing comedy looks like that French one . Norway or Sweden have money , they can invested to their entertainment more . Hollywood is the best ever , but , Nordic movies are so nice , too . Then , one issue Nordic movies , it's " Speed " , whole start to the ending is slowly a little . More speedy , please . British and French are speedy enough like Hollywood made . Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review brosef d loved the Euro take on American car culture, strong acting, scenery, much better than most stuff that comes out stateside in recent years. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Joins Wild Women of Wongo as the worst movie ever made. Tortured stereotypes. I now really appreciate “Herbie” for its sophistication. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/11/21 Full Review Audience Member Like the two movies preceding it, Børning 3 may not be narratively investing but it is an entertaining ride, exactly what people want going into it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an incredibly refreshing comedy that was off the rails adventure the whole way through. Excellent character acting throughout. This answers the question of "what if fast and furious had the comedy it deserves and the acting it doesn't?" Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
