The most important part of Korean history were surprisingly well permeated into the film. I hope people all over the world will listen to Korean history. I hope everyone around the world knows how terrible and vicious Japan has been to Korea, how hurtful it has been, and how much it has made them cry

Thrilling and action-packed from beginning to end, 'Assassination' manages to overcome its messy and somewhat confusing setup (doesn't quite get the time-jumps right, far too many characters, bit bloated here and there etc.), as well as its blatant pandering to the mainstream audience, by just being incredibly entertaining -- and sometimes that's all I really need to enjoy a film.
