Wendy W There is no actual asteroid impacting earth in the movie, so that is a bit misleading (there is the threat of the asteroid of course). It’s too bad that they chose ‘comedy’, it makes the movie too lighthearted imho. If it would have been a drama, it would have been quite similar to Leave the World Behind. I felt like the movie could have been so much more. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 11/13/24 Full Review A K Good idea, execution is spotty - some acting is good, some bad. Just imagine you're watching a bad 90s movie, and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Sometimes. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 11/03/24 Full Review Christopher R I'm only 10 minutes in and I already want to stick needles in my eyes, and blow out my ear drums! Please let this be some college film project that got lucky ending up on a streaming service! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/02/24 Full Review Audience Member This is NOT a Sci-fi movie. Bad acting and NO ASTEROID! Completely clickbait and misleading movie poster and title. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/24 Full Review Zephyr O Awful movie about a family that leaves the city to live in upstate New York in a small town. NASA announces an asteroid is coming and will land in the USA. Later they get more specific on where it will land which of course is close by and that precipitates a series of events none of which ever shows us the asteroid. That's right, the movie is called asteroid, and you never see it, not in the sky, not hitting the ground, not after it hits the ground. The main thing to know is that you will never see an asteroid in the movie called asteroid. The movie ends before it hits earth, or if it hits earth. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/07/24 Full Review Rick M The first time I watched this movie several months ago, I thought, what a totally stupid, poorly done waste of time. I didn't remember it, because it was not worth remembering. But I was looking at it from completely the wrong angle. I just watched it again, and realized that it is an absolutely hilarious satire on a whole lot of things. Very entertaining. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Read all reviews
