Tim O Absurd slechte film op alle vlakken! Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review christopher c. m This is so bad. It tries to be a disaster movie with an EVIL Government invading privacy plot. Considering the bulk of Americans sided with Snowden turning Steve into an outcast makes no sense. Snowden is in hiding from the people who arrest him, not the people being spied on. Steve's wife Maggie saying the other kids are bulling their kid because of exposing the truth. Yeah, kids keeping up or caring about this has got to be the most unrealistic part of this whole mess of a plot. Also, the EVIL spying on American consist of Google Maps. The camera didn't peer into the houses or pick up conversations or anything. I think the whole Snowden angle was probably done in reshoots to be "topical". This is a disaster movie where the possible world ending event is a subplot and that doesn't work. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This low-budget disaster film is kind of dopey fun. The special effects are cheesey, but you can imagine what they might have looked like if they'd been done right and that's actually enough to make it work. What doesn't work is the plotting which is preposterous and gets more ridiculous until the laugh-out-loud ending--I literally laughed out loud! Despite the wretched script, the acting is decent and the cast are attractive and are giving it their best. One thing this film does have is plenty of action and the storyline rips right along. If you can lower your standards enough, you can enjoy this film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
