Simon Foster sbs.com.au At World's End is not the sort of crowd-pleaser one usually finds in the upmarket venues, so we can only hope discerning crowds buoyed by the spirited romp will word-of-mouth the film to some degree of mainstream exposure. Aug 11, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member I'm a huge fan of Nikolaj Lie Kaas, Nicolas Bro, and Birgitte Hjort Sørensen. Any film starring the these three actors is worth watching. I can take or leave the story, but as a character study, or a master class in acting, Nikolaj is brilliant. Reminds me of my delight in watch the very weird "Men & Chicken" where Bro & Lie Kaas joined a stellar cast in another execise in acting. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent movie. It features a great performance by Nikolaj Lie Kaas whose character is by far the most interesting. The movie itself is sadly a little more uneven but overall worthwile. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member The story was OK but I can't look back from the fact that my biggest danish actors dislike got the leading role in this movie, and it's awful. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Why why why??!?! Why is it when Denmark finally want to spent a bit of money on a film, they come up with total crap like this?! Shit story, shit acting, shit everything! Has a million loose ends. It just doesn't keep to the film it should be, it goes in several directions and nothing makes sense. The "funny" scenes are embarrassing. The music sound like it was cheaply made on a shit synthesizer. The cinematography wasn't anything to be impressed by and the visual effects were very poor. A prayer to the danish film industry: "please make a good film soon". There's to far between them. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A by-the-numbers Danish Indiana Jones-type movie. Rent it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
