Alain E @AlainE May 21 A film that could have not been shot before the collapse of the communist bloc. In it Meszaros examines the consequences of the non voluntary fertility treatments administered by Soviet soldiers on Austrian women during the post WW II period, when they were one of the occupying forces. As mentioned in the movie, the Red Army committed 250,000 rapes and is responsible for the birth of 40,000 children. The movie progresses with frequent flashbacks that overall are well integrated. A significant revelation about what had transpired occurs towards the end. The movie is a useful addition to the canon. On Tubi. See more Read all reviews
