ineptly scripted, amateurishly edited, poorly acted, ugly looking and determinedly adolescent in its focus. Worst of all, it is entirely without subtext - and a zombie flick without subtext is like a bottle without the wine.

It is hard to completely hate Automaton Transfusion as just about every conceivable negative criticism can attest to its many problems but I don't think that it is the worst. Shittier zombie movies do exist. But to say that a shittier zombie movie exists is just about all you can say aside from "It's nice that a filmmaker put together a zombie movie with decent practical effects and a cast of people who wanted to try and act for what probably was the first and only time. Dreams can come true." And to have a short running time and having the most heightened action just cut to "continued in part 2". Hopefully there is never a second part made and that would make such an ending actually good.

I loved this movie, especially since it is meant to be like an 80's grungy horror movie, not your typical box office hit BS that most people with no taste cant get enough of. granted some of the talent is mediocre, its still a great indie zombie film that any true zombie buff or gore hound will be sure to love
