Audience Member Though not given much plot to work with, the acting was fairly good (especially Sophie Lowe) and the film itself was visually stunning. The image of the girl innocently standing by the pool as the brute approaches her is haunting. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent Netflix Blarter... Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is 1 HR. 40 MIN. long...and there is barely a full 60 seconds worth of dialog in it. So, that makes it a bit annoying. However, the scenery is amazing, and I kind of give respect to the director for telling a story like this without a whole lot of words being spoken. It does have some suspense, but having people rarely speak, loses some of the realism. Sophie Lowe is an actress to keep an eye on though, the girl has talent! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Well written movie, with very little words said. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This was an excellent film. The story is told with very few words. Vusually stunning. Emotional. Well done. Tirdad Derakhshani Philadelphia Inquirer An enigmatic, visually stunning, but uneven parable about the rape and attempted murder of a young girl in a tiny Alpine community. Rated: 2.5/4 Sep 19, 2014 Full Review Martin Tsai Los Angeles Times Novice filmmaker Markus Blunder just lets the violence snowball all the way down a slippery slope. Sep 18, 2014 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed A one note and tedious thriller with a misogynist undertone that couldn't salvage an attempted dramatic "poetic justice" finale. Nov 26, 2014 Full Review Maitland McDonagh Film Journal International But ultimately, Autumn Blood, which proceeds at a pace that could be equally described as measured or glacial...feels less like a fully realized film than a half-imagined idea for one. Sep 19, 2014 Full Review Roger Moore Tribune News Service Striking scenery, novel storytelling style, wasted on a poorly executed and pervy exploitation thriller Rated: 1.5/4 Sep 16, 2014 Full Review Read all reviews
