Narratively, it might be fairly standard stuff -- but visually speaking, Avatar: The Way of Water is a stunningly immersive experience.

Avatar: The Way of Water's story is predictable, but the visual effects are so spectacular that it hardly matters.

devon Great movie just watching but In 3d I was with a group of 9 and we keep taking off our glasses bc it hurt but definitely a 10/10 Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Jeff C No justice to the first. Felt more like a stand alone film that was made just to set up the next, but it never really set itself to be anything but okay. I can watch the first film from time to time and it never gets old. This one got stale half way through the very first time watching. I hope the next installment is better... way better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Julia so amazing 😍 so good Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/23 Full Review Saul Guzman The movie was sensational Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/22/23 Full Review Robert K I didn't go twice.?!? Matthew Lickona San Diego Reader It would be missing the point to call the proceedings indulgent to the point of self-infatuation: Cameron has built a new world from the remixed bits of this one, and he seems determined that we should not simply visit Pandora, we should live in it. Rated: 2/5 Dec 21, 2022 Full Review Dwight Brown DwightBrownInk.com It’s more than you can possibly imagine. A fantasy world so vivid and real it commands your full attention for 3h 12m. And when it’s done, you’ll still want to linger in this heightened state of make believe. Rated: 4/4 Dec 21, 2022 Full Review tt stern-enzi WXIX-TV (Cincinnati, OH) We get a story this time... that part of it was great, but at 3 hours and 15 minutes, it's just too long. Dec 21, 2022 Full Review Dave Giannini InSession Film Did I think this movie would be made? No. Did I think it would crack my Top 10? Also no. But here we are. Feb 27, 2024 Full Review Preston Barta Fresh Fiction 'Avatar: The Way of Water' pops with well-rendered images and vibrant colors. It's like you’re witnessing Cameron film a National Geographic documentary on an alien planet. It evokes all the senses. Rated: A Jan 9, 2024 Full Review Mini Anthikad-Chhibber The Hindu James Cameron's Avatar sequel has stunning visuals that get elevated on a big IMAX screen. However, the plot is less than engaging, the dialogues are clunky, and you wish it was shorter. Oct 4, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews
