It would be missing the point to call the proceedings indulgent to the point of self-infatuation: Cameron has built a new world from the remixed bits of this one, and he seems determined that we should not simply visit Pandora, we should live in it.

So disappointing after the first film. The special effects are great but the storyline was weak. Why on earth did we need to resurrect the bad guy from the last film? I think they lost some of the strengths of the characters in an attempt to create drama.

13 years later, after the first film, this movie was worth the wait. It's more than just Ultra realistic Visuals it tells the struggles of parenting and grief and animal cruelty, and Lo'ak was very cool and sympathetically relatable being like his Father from the first film, This is an Improvement over the first Avatar in almost every way
