      Critics Consensus

Flat direction and actors who look embarrassed to be onscreen make Baby Geniuses worse than the premise suggests.

Platty the Perrypus W Unfortunately the babies that made this movie were not, in fact, geniuses. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/07/23 Full Review Hudson B I honestly thought it was pretty fun. I know a lot of people hate it, yeah it has its issues, but its plot isn't that great so I will give 3 stars. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 08/27/23 Full Review Jeffrey M Baby Geniuses was a HORRIBLE TERRIBLE TREACHEROUS movie. I finished it a few minutes and it was HORRIBLE. When the babies talked it look super creepy. Also this movie was super duper boring. When I started watching the movie, it seemed interesting at first. But then the movie started to really boring. I mean, this movie would be better off without the babies. I hated every single character in this movie. This movie is the worst movie I have watched in my life. I think I have found the worst movie in the world. This movie is a HIDEOUS BORING AWFUL movie. I give it a 0%. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/03/23 Full Review Savannah B A cinematic masterpiece… a true classic for children born in the early 90s. The baby Elvis impression is better than what you would see on the strip in Vegas. The bravery of the babies is comparable to that of Aragorn, Han Solo, and Dumbledore himself. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/20/23 Full Review Khalan C As I watch this movie unbearably longer(oh the complete undescribable angrish) I thought to myself, "who in their right mind would approve for this movie to be made?". This ranks on my "worst movies I ever seen" list Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/19/23 Full Review StephenPaul C LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 34 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!! Starring Christopher Lloyd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Lael Loewenstein Variety A thoroughly misguided, unfunny film. Jan 5, 2007 Full Review Nathan Rabin AV Club Baby Geniuses' ramshackle plot serves merely as a launching pad for nearly two hours of jokes revolving around the idea of babies who talk and behave like bad stand-up comedians. Jan 5, 2007 Full Review Jonathan Rosenbaum Chicago Reader The hokey dialogue and witless physical gags keep everything painful and hectoring. Jan 5, 2007 Full Review Tim Brayton Alternate Ending Aesthetically and morally, I can hardly name a more viscerally repugnant family film from the 1990s.
