See more Kyle C @kylekc 04/16/2020 I haven't watched the rest of Babylon 5 (yet), so I can't say how effective this is as a pilot, but as a standalone film it doesn't hold up that well. The writing is pretty cheesy, the acting is awful at times, and the special effects and score feel a lot more early-80s than early-90s. That being said, the story is fairly engaging and the world was interesting enough to make me want to watch the rest of the series.
