But with no help from the locals, bringing the responsible parties to justice becomes a frustrating exercise. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member (***): A tough and interesting film. Good cast. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member A good performance by Ana de la Reguera. Good that it focuses attention on the still unsolved Juarez murders. Jimmy Smits' role was disappointing. Atmospheric scenes of the Mexican desert. Unfocused but earnest. Several subplots don't quite come together, which is appropriate since the murders have no Hollywood ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member i didnt think id ever say a subtitled movie out of mexico would b a good movie..but if you like foriegn movies check this one out Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member A must watch for anyone interested in women's rights or/and Las Muertas de Juarez.
