BAD GIRL BOOGEY follows Angel whose mother was brutally murdered one Halloween night, when blood was shed by a deranged killer wearing a parasitic mask cursed with black magic and bigotry. This movie is perhaps best described as a clunky but endearingly heartfelt DIY depiction of life among a group of LGBTQ+ kids, striving to live joyfully while being plagued by evil forces, anxious to eradicate them.

There is a decent story in here . The concept of an ancient mask when wearing it will possess you. That is actually not a bad concept at all . Problem for me is the execution and characters or lack of characters. We do not really get to know our main characters or get much of a chance to care for them but more importantly they were not coming off as likable . Good makeup Fx and some good shots here and there . The audio was bad a lot of times but the lines all felt improvised and not really connecting so maybe the audio doesn't matter ? There is a similar movie on Shudder called "The Skull" that has great special FX, production value and a out of this world story that I would recommend instead .
