Amy (Mila Kunis) has a great husband, overachieving children, beautiful home and successful career. Unfortunately, she's also overworked, exhausted and ready to snap. Bad Moms is a comedic thrill, with just enough sweet moments to make it a fun movie for moms(and older kids) alike! While it may lag in some parts, and be slightly over dramatic, the comedy and chemistry between the moms gives a movie enjoyable enough to watch at least a few times to actually absorb it all, since the first time, a few parts will be so quick and unexpected your brain will be going WHAT THE HELL. But, this movie is enjoyable in all ways, with the comedy, sweetness, and relatable moments for moms.

It had moments that mad me laugh, but they were few and far between. The story was interesting enough but the writing felt very mundane, and even bizarre at times. I can see what they were going for here, it just didn't quite hit the mark. Kathryn Hahn was the most interesting character in this movie and even she couldn't save it. Not the worst thing I've ever seen, but there are much better movies like this out there.

Anyone watching a film like this thinking they're going to get something profound is a doughnut. It's obviously not that kind of film. I enjoyed this a lot more than I thought I would. Mila is obviously not that hard on the eyes. She carries the film and I do think it wouldn’t work as well if you put someone else as the lead because it has a wafer-thin and silly plot. But, the concept re: her breaking bad a is a fun one. Fun film.
