Without a doubt this is the slowest most tedious "duster" I've seen in 70 some odd year, a cloud of dust would have been more interesting. With this decent cast the Director should be looking for a different line of work, Badlands is a dismal failure. The best part was killing off Trace Atkins early.

I was too distracted by the unrealistic props and background actions to watch this movie. Square bales? Flakes of alfalfa? Unsaddle the horse already, and why is he still standing around wearing his bridle? Curtains on the shed. How many outfits does this poor struggling farm girl own? Bruce Dern has pneumonia? It was worse than a Hallmark movie.

It amazes me, in this Century, the money spent to make films such as Badland! Pathetic! I had to scroll forward in less than an hour of starting the movie. What a disgrace to Westerns👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Fine cinamatography, acting and some about human relation, but then again it becomes shallow - and big Hector got very soft pretty easily.

Don't bother. I couldn't tell if the stilted dialogue was just bad writing and acting or whether they had a failed attempt at the stilted language of the era. In any case, it was distracting and pathetic.
