Logan D To save his wife from dying of cancer, Matt utilizes an ancient relic and fails to follow the rules. A mildly enjoyable low budget film. It's too bad it doesn't have a stronger script as I thought the two leads did well with what they were given. Films such as Talk to Me get away with no history provided for the supernatural item but I think this film would've been strengthened by some lore. This movie is just your basic vampire movie with a knarly twist, and I really liked it. I think that maybe some viewers might not like to because it doesn’t explain everything and leaves something for the imagination. I actually liked that part of it. It was suspenseful, kept me jumping and it had a good ending in a twisted kind of way. I also liked the fact that it was a new idea, the writer was very creative. I don’t want to say too much and spoil it.
