A gifted singer/songwriter, Charlotte hires Will Burton, a new guy in town, to manage her fledgling rock band. She wants one thing from him: to help her win a contest against her ex-boyfriend in an upcoming battle of the bands. Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, o elenco é mais ou menos, mas ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, a história é fraca, os personagens sao fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes para fazer o filme ser bom.

A uniquely humorous and profound film, with outstanding acting, a gem poorly marketed in a '"High School Musical" genre, so it never got the exposure and audience it deserved. Director Todd Graff created a movie with perfect pitch and a huge heart to delight and engage audiences and music lovers of all ages.

I absolutely love this movie as it's in a way my generation's coming of age movie that has an incredible soundtrack and a great plot line. It's just a really great movie to watch.
