Audience Member Beautiful, meaningful, and underrated. Bangkok Love Story will come into your life. It will bring you action, great acting, and a great story. I think that you have to have an artistic mind to understand this movie. A lot of people just look at the main parts of the movie: gay, sex, kill. No, it's not just those aspects, there are more within these concepts. There aren't a lot of dialogues, but the emotions that this movie showed is overwhelming. People should really give this movie another try by watching it again and try understand every actors. [SPOILER] To the people that said that it would've better if Maek didn't die, I think it wouldn't leave such a big impact if Maek didn't die. Maek killed a lot of people (even though he did it to support his family) and it wouldn't be as fair if he just goes on and lives happily with his lover. It touched my soul. a definate 4 kleenex movie. The fiilm as seen in the US is edited for time. The original which is just sort of 3 hours is absolutely beautiful. It should never have been cut because the scenes that are missing are essential to the story line. Beautiful shot, well edited, excellent direction and acting. Fue un poco raro ver como se trataban algunos temas con tanta crudeza (como la discriminacion a los portadores del VIH) mientras que otros se vieron completamente ingenuos (el romance entre los protagonistas). Se excedieron un poco en el drama, lo que afecto la credibilidad de la historia. Algo que si tengo que reconocer es que la ambientacion de la película fue GENIAL.
