Audience Member Quirky, bloody, and violent are the best words to describe this movie. It is a great revenge story and the cast is fun, but you won't miss much if you choose to skip this one. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The exposition was very good until the old Shaolin master starts his fake unrealistic Kung Fu moves and effects, then the movie got lost its way. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Yuthlert Sippapak's Bangkok Kung Fu finds a way to be misleading in title.
Sure, this film takes place in Bangkok and there is kung fu, but for a 100 minute picture, it sure doesn't feel like "Bangkok Kung Fu." The story spends a lot of time on the characters, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but when all is said and done, the plot details are too thin and the storytelling needs work.

The kung fu is low in quantity and what does occur is stylized with "powers" that never receive any explanation. In the end, there is very little in the way of any contact when the characters fight.

The disabilities of the characters is a nice touch and the acting isn't too bad. Arak Amornsupasiri and Artikitt Prinkprom stand out with more confident and aggressive characters. Jarinya Sirimongkolsakul is easy on the eyes.

At the end of the day, Bangkok Kung Fu is worth skipping over for something else.
Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
