Waitresses at a Georgia restaurant, Nisi and Mickey, decide to fly to Los Angeles for a music-video audition in order to raise money for their dream project, a business that combines soul-food dining with a hair salon. Circumstances eventually find the Southern ladies on the estate of Mr. Blakemore, an elderly millionaire. Nothing wrong with gaining beyond what you ask however on the writer of this film part "NOT THE ACTORS" it should not be at an innocent tragedy's expense. Extraordinary film. Bittersweet Ending. Conclusion could stand a slight do over.

This film is one of my top five favorite films of all time. It's funny, heartwarming, and has a very unique storyline with a twist. It's one of the very few movies that I believe has the perfect ending. It's definitely a classic!

B.A.P.S. is a cult classic because it follows the classic tale of trying to achieve fame and fortune, yet lines begin to blur when happiness and morals get in the way. It's hilarious. A staple in time that no one would ever want to forget. It's underrated. Yet the film never fails to disappoint or shy away from a happy ending for doing what is right. I remember watching this film as a young teen and felt captured by these two brilliantly talented women working with the script and cameras, then giving it all they got. I love it and I highly recommend it. This is the kind of film that I could watch 100 times.
