Shubhra Gupta The Indian Express [Raja] Menon's centering of fringe characters is a welcome thing, and some of the acting, especially by Naseer[ruddin Shah] and Arjun [Mathur], fits in. Vijay Raaz exaggerates, though, and in places the execution gets contrived. Apr 26, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

flixster f The movie reflects the saying: "There is an end to man's need, but not his greed." But going by the title, it seems to be inspired from the saying, "Khaya piya kuch nahi, glass toda barah aana." (which literally translates to: "Ate, drank absolutely nothing, and broke the glass worth twelve cents." and means something like: "Wasted money on nothing at all.") It's a situational comedy with average performances by the lead characters. However, the main fault lies in the screenplay. It takes almost first half to reach to the main storyline. And from thereon too, it carries on about so-so. A few laughs scattered here and there, but that's about it. The short duration of the movie (as compared to most Bollywood movies) works in its favor, and saves it from being disastrously torturous. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Audience Member worth a watch. life on the other side of the fence...(watch out for how you speak to your driver!) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Not a bad story... easily plausible situation. And great performances by the trio. Vijay Raaz shines. Naseer Sahb's screen presence is enough but god you feel relieved when he actually talks! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Entertaining but not one that holds you till the end... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
