The urgency of this complex and far-reaching issue, coupled with the undeniable appeal of the Everyman story that triggered the debate, will propel "Punk" to harmonious fest exposure and tenacious afterlife. Go to Full Review

The first film to tackle the all-important subject of whether the Comcast's and Time-Warner's of the world will have the power to control what we see, hear or post on the Internet. Gives the term "net neutrality" a flesh-and-blood urgency. Go to Full Review

10/09/2012 Amazing story and created by two women who are pretty bad ass. You never know how much we might give up or could be taken away from us until you see this movie. See more 10/04/2012 This is a ridiculously good documentary. It is a must see for anyone interested in how our society is being shaped by the forces behind the invisible net we call the internet... talk about "the man behind the curtain". This is a MUST see for anyone in the Music or Film industry and really for anyone who simply uses the internet... it is scary, thought-provoking and makes you realize that it might not be that the internet is out of control but instead that it is over-controlled by "the corporate machine" in ways we don't even realize.... thanks for this eye-opener See more 10/03/2012 Let me start by giving you some advice: Watch this at home, not in a theater. I was very glad I did because there were several points in the movie where my family wanted to pause it and talk about some idea or concept. If you do see it in a theater, it might be a good idea to bring a pen and paper so that you can jot down your thoughts. Like most good documentaries, this one makes you want to keep discussing political issues after the movie ends. It presented these issues - net neutrality, common carrier laws, government regulation vs. free enterprise - in a way that makes you want to research them later. It leaves you wanting more, and that is a good thing. The movie did seem a little bit short to me, at 1 hour 17 minutes, but it packs in a lot of information without ever getting boring. Overall a wonderful effort, definitely worth seeing if you care at all about freedom and the Internet. See more 10/03/2012 In the immortal words of Ian McKaye - "Freaks. Deviants. That's me". See more 10/02/2012 Takes a technical subject and breaks it down into an understandable story about how these laws and regulations affect our personal lives and civil liberties. If you want to learn about how your privacy is being vioated, or how voicescare being censored by corporate interests then you MUST SEE this film See more 10/01/2012 I hope everyone sees it :) See more Read all reviews
