I prefer her as an actress with real character names, but I'm afraid, that will never come back. 😕 Firstly, there are a bit too many songs and they're way too random. Like that song in the airplane? Suddenly she just sings and the whole crew and passengers know the choreography. Now, in a musical that's pretty normal, but in an airplane of a reality tv show? No, that's too much... And these songs are all on auto tune...😐 Secondly, the switch with Barbie & the Princess was way too forced. There are quite some movies where Barbie switches with another person, but it's usually way more epic and doesn't feel so forced. Also, the animation is getting weirder and weirder... already in the beginning, when the princess was riding the horse, her back stretched way too forward. And this may only be a little detail, but considering this was made in 2020, you do expect a little more budget. It's not their first movie. I get that they didn't have much budget with their 2000s movies, but 2020? C'mon. I mean, this movie looks like it could have had potential, if it just wouldn't feel so forced all the time... Do you know those 40 year olds trying too hard to act like teenagers? Yeah, this is what this movie felt like. It did have great messages, but it was mostly told directly to your face, not really shown (except in the songs, but same thing)... :/ I did like the romance between Alfonso & the teacher though; it was cute. I will defiantly be buying all the toys that came from this movie for my 2 young boys. This movie was so good I also enjoyed it, it is 100% for all ages including your 90 something year old grandma or pa on their death bed. If whatever diaereses they have wont take em down the amount of laughter they will have will 100% end them for good. I loved the story that was told by the characters in this movie how well they mixed together with their great chemistry, That has been why I think Cars 2 is a cinematic masterpiece. But this one is the first one to just be bad, awful new animation and just looses all the fun in depth story other Barbie movies have.
