Ranbir Kapoor's acting will win your heart. Hes amazing here, somewhat of a Charlie Chaplin meets Mr Bean.Watch it for emotion and acting.Priyanka is admirable in her role too. For a story riddled with disabilities, it is quite a charming film. Worth a watch!

Atando-me de amor por Ranbir Kapoor (por Raajneeti e Jagga), adoráveis atuações em filmes igualmente fofos, um filme encantador, delicado, singelo, e com humor leve e sincero… Com grande atuação, o destaque ficou mesmo por conta de Priyanka Chopra, maravilhosa como a doce autista… Bollywood só não são muito bons nos efeitos especiais no que tange ao envelhecimento, muito fake e mal caracterizado as peles do rosto e as mãos de adolescentes, totalmente relevante diante de tamanha poesia e encanto.

The screenplay is more meandering that it needs to be, and a lot of the gags cross the line between homage and plagiarism - but you'd forgive these trespasses for a film that so obviously has its heart in the right place.

This is a film made with love, bolstered by wonderfully etched vignettes, Ranbir Kapoor's stupendous performance and a gorgeous soundtrack by Pritam. And yet, for me, Barfi was a singularly frustrating experience.
