Eperson F Simply the best Batman movie of all time. Based on Frank Miller's classic comic, the adaptation is perfect in all the smallest details, as well as having Christopher Drake's incredible soundtrack. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/15/23 Full Review Marius G The movie was good, but the way that they introduced the Mutants was bad—that's my only complaint. Otherwise, it was great. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/27/23 Full Review johnathon w Superb adaptation of the classic graphic novel, thanks to a fantastic vocal cast and filmmakers welling to stick to the source material. The actors are excellent across the board, with Peter Weller delivering an excellent Bruce Wayne/Batman, bringing nice gravitas as the aged superhero. He gets great support from the rest of the cast, especially Ariel Winter as the new Robin. Behind the camera, director Jay Oliva makes the wise choice of sticking to the comic nearly word for word, though a few lines are missing (especially the opening narration that pays off towards the end). It helps the film is two and a half hours long to tell the full story, and even sticking with Ronald Reagan as president adds to the atmosphere. All in all, a fantastic film and one of the best adaptations of the comic book ever. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews
