Clearly intended to appeal only to longtime fans of the series, which has done much to make the Dark Knight and his Boy Wonder sidekick cartoonish caricatures rather than earnest crime-fighters.

“Campy charm that’s hard to resist” – 3/5 The 1966 Batman is pure camp and cheesy fun. It doesn’t take itself seriously at all, which can be a breath of fresh air if you’re in the mood for something light and nostalgic. The bright colors, over-the-top villains, and silly one-liners make it a goofy ride that’s easy to enjoy. It’s definitely dated and won’t satisfy anyone looking for a serious superhero flick, but if you’re up for some classic, quirky entertainment, it’s worth a watch. Just don’t expect a deep Batman story here. This is how Batman started though so you have to respect it
