For many years, humans have reported various UFO sightings around the world, fueling speculation about the existence of life on other worlds. If the talk had been surgically removed, leaving only the sights and sounds of combat, this could have been a striking, semiabstract display of aggressive energy; as it is, any viewer over twelve will go for the laughs.

It's not an alien-invasion movie. It's a war movie where the enemy is an alien military force. It's innovative, intense and fun. Most people have hard time understanding it. It can be frustrating if you expect it as an alien-invasion movie. But if uou watch this as it is: a war movie, it will be nice. Good characters, good story-line. It worth your time. Definitively.

Battle: Los Angeles (2011) Honestly, this movie is pretty bad... It has nothing important or innovative about it; it's just a generic alien invasion movie that we've already seen many times. It's a mess that the script can't fix.

This was a fun watch as I really enjoy combat movies and video games. The story flows nicely, the action is non-stop and the combat felt pretty realistic for a sci-fi / action movie.
