Victor O I saw this movie listed in Natassia Malthe’s filmography and was impressed by the many other decent actors in this, so I decided to make time for it. A group of mercenaries has been hired out for a job at the behest of the United States government. The leader, Vincent, is regarded as a traitor who is treated as expendable, but the true traitor comes from up high as Vincent and his team of capable, albeit somewhat dysfunctional, alongside a CIA go-between, get themselves into a situation that should doom them all, but in the end, come together to survive. Not bad, but not great. There are some decent performers in this movie, from Louis Mandylor, Natassia Malthe, and Dominique Swain, but it’s a low-rent sci-fi action movie. A well-spent time if you know what you’re getting yourself into. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/09/25 Full Review Audience Member Overall, seeking a brainless and super corny sci-fi action film? Battle Drone needs to go on your list. It's a brainless film that knows what it is.  There are many movie lovers who will simply enjoy the cheesy lines of dialogue and overconfident performances, no matter the pros or cons.  For me, while I found some enjoyment and appreciated the solid efforts of bringing something fun and new, there were still many issues that I struggled with. Some of these include the overuse of slow-motion action sequences overstaying their welcome and the musical score which is at times unfitting and forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Crap movie all the slow motion gets annoying asf makes you loose interest quickly if you give this movie anything higher than this you're one sad lonely pos and don't know ish about good movies Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoy my fair share of terrible movies, but this was next level. The writing was trope-y. There were chunks of dialogue that seemed like an AI program had written them after watching every Expendables/A-Team, Fast & Furious, Terminator, etc. type movie. The CGI was awful. Half of the movie looked like a video game. It took half an hour for the drones to even show up, and even after they did, I couldn't wait for it to be over. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member It's a B movie, but manages to avoid A LOT of pit falls. Fun to watch without frequently thinking, 'no that's not right', and 'why did they do that?'. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member So not a garbage movie, I'd compare it to The Expendables Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Read all reviews
