Marc Savlov Austin Chronicle This hip-hoppy dance-off melodrama is about as funky as an Amish funeral. Rated: 0/5 Jun 8, 2012 Full Review Joe Leydon Variety A pic so thoroughly generic as to suggest a contraption assembled from spare parts with the aid of a how-to manual. Jun 8, 2012 Full Review Alonso Duralde TheWrap The teams seem to be competing for little more than bragging rights and one of those giant "Toddlers & Tiaras" trophies. Jun 1, 2012 Full Review Jack Fleischer Battleship Pretension Battlefield America is rambling, awkward - and the ultimate immature fantasy. It will have its fans, but I am not one of them. Mar 24, 2021 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com This is one battle where everyone involved loses. Rated: 1.5/4.0 Sep 2, 2020 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue The dance sequences are energetic and the kids are charming enough, but the generic script is underdog formula throughout. Audience Member I'm working on a new screenplay now and movies like this are the reason why i stay re-writing. I brought it on blu ray for $1.99,though, so i guess it was worth watching once. Little gangsta kids acting like adults. Very agrivating. But after that really became a great dance movie. I even cried. Awesome movie with heart. A must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member This was a great movie you are upset because black people look good in it and it is a dance movie it is all about dance not the plot that like saying all action movies suck they are all about the fights so shut the hell up Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews
