I love the story and how there's a suspenseful feeling vàrious times. He's prefect for the bàd, perverted role. He sold his character, did à great job. Her mother however, the script was very unrealistic. He character was too cheesy. The young girl looked sexy but not unrealistic. I would of gotten her pregnant, she wanted it so bad but he was too aggressive. Lol

It had so much more potential but didn't get there. And so many unanswered questions. Did he kill Hannah? Was he coming back to just be with her or kill her ? I knew he would come back when she was alone. Did he drug her with the pills she found ? Was she making these things up in her head to commit a murder so she had a story ? And Willa is beautiful.

It creates an atmosphere but overall there are many loose ends. Good music and cinematography. Did Paul kill Hanna? Emma transitioned quite fast from struggling novelist to ruthless killer, which then freed her creative capacity.

Implausibility #1. Her parents know their just departed house guest is mentally unstable, but go for an overnight stay in the city leaving their daughter alone n their isolated beach house. Implausibility #2. She knows the house guest may be a killer, but chooses not to go with her parents and then goes to bed leaving a door unlocked. This phycological thriller left me on the edge of my seat but the plot defects bothered me. Not uncommon in otherwise excellent movies. Doesn't anyone edit the final version? Very often the screenwriters have a good plot and synopsis but the devil is in the details.
