Emily (Julia Goldani Telles, The Affair), a young solo female sailor, finds herself shipwrecked and badly hurt on a remote island. She is rescued by the island's lone inhabitant, Ismael (Academy Award nominee Demián Bichir, Godzilla vs. Kong), the operator of the world's most isolated lighthouse. Due to the stormy conditions a rescue from the mainland will have to wait, so Emily recuperates with the help of Ismael. But as the rescue date approaches, Ismael seems to begin to act increasingly erratic, and Emily begins to suspect that Ismael may have intentionally disabled his lighthouse to entrap her, and others before her. But Ismael has his own suspicions of his unexpected guest and what brought her there. As tensions between them rise, Emily slowly loses her own tenuous grip on reality. Increasingly unsure of herself, she must find a way to survive and escape from this distant island prison.
