Audience Member I came away with a much greater fascination with Bears. Quite interesting. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member The songs used in the musical score were silly but the facts versus perception about bears is educational and many people fear what they don't understand, and many kill what they don't understand/fear. Bears were wiped out in certain areas years ago and the controversy of reintroduction is an interesting one. Like many animals, people move into their territory, create farms, and then make the decision to destroy wildlife as they see fit. The bonus features are satisfying, especially the "Bear Wars" feature. If you're interesting in learning more about bears, not a bad documentary. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This is more formulaic than any Hollywood genre picture. It’s quite amusing. This is not as well done as some though. I found something lacking in the musical choices. It also has none of the flash and brilliance of a big-budget show like Planet Earth. One can tell they had far less resources at their disposal. There is some great footage of bears though, which is after all exactly what is required. It’s always an issue when the special features are arguably better than the actual feature.
