Audience Member Watching this show on YouTube for the first time, saying that I was ecstatic was a bit of an understatement. The Beatles, a cartoon on the telly! It amazed me, until I watched it. The voices provided for the characters (the beatles had no real participation in the making of the show, except for their songs) were marginal at best, with only Paul and Ringo sounding even close to their real life counterparts. The plots for each episode were silly and felt like rip-offs to "Scooby Doo" (even though The Beatles cartoon came first.) However, in the midst of all this negativity, I still found it enjoyable enough to finish all three seasons (39 episodes stretched from 1965-1969)and still laugh at the overall bad quality of the cartoon. The Beatles themselves even admitted that years later "they somewhat enjoy watching the series." Watch this at your own risk. You may hate it for its silliness, or you may find yourself unexpectantly laughing.
