George Dunning enjoyed great success as a director due to his unique perspective of the world. In 1965, he produced the animated program "The Beatles," for ABC. Dunning first sat in the director's chair on the project "Yellow Submarine" (1968). Dunning also appeared in "Hands, Knees and Bumps-a-Daisy" (1970). Later in his career, Dunning worked on "Getting Together" (ABC, 1971-72). Dunning passed away in February 1979 at the age of 59.
