Audience Member Norwegian coming of age film done by Danish director Peter Flinth, based on the famous Norwegian novel by Lars Saabye Christensen. Four teenage boys that's really digging "The Beatles" are living life as most teenagers in Oslo in the sixties. They feel connected with The Beatles in some way, and even feel like they repersent the four members themselves. They try to get things going with their band, but nothing much happens. School, problem with parents, economy and most importantly girls is to big of factors to really concentrate on the band. I like the story, even if it's very typical. It's "made to relate" kind of, but it's probably way more relatable for men in their sixties or seventies - not the biggest audience group. Mediocre plus on most levels, but the acting is not all that and it's not bringing much new to the table. That said, it's an all right film. 5.5 out of 10 car logos. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews
