I did not know that we have Australian gothic movies. I found the slow meandering pace consistent with an environment steeped in isolation and full of repetitious tasks. This movie has excellent casting, excellent acting, and a creative use of flashback memory sequences that slowly reveals family truths and secrets. August Osage County down under. with less star power. The adult Ned, Sally, Toni and Bruce characters nailed it, and the young Ned and Kate characters portrayed the spectrum of emotions that their ill-fated and confusing twin relationship laid bare.

the movie is beautifully shot but it follows the normal pattern of a person having guilt is hounded by past demons and slowly as audience comes to know about his guilt and then the climax where he is devolved of his guillt . nothing new so the story tries to shock you with brother sister sexual relations. That's it. an very average film.

Interesting incest movie.... the story was good, the relationship between the sister and her brothers was a little uncomfortable to watch in the way that you feel bad for her and also hate her at the same time. Decent.
