Why are these guys so boring? It’s a mystery that won’t be probed by director Bernard MacMahon and co-writer Allison McGourty, who tick off the usual gigs and recording anecdotes on the rise to fame with a then-this-happened dutifulness.

The anecdotes are fun, and it’s great to see the band members discuss their meteoric, almost overnight, rise in their own words. However, these only go so far when the director isn’t allowed to actively question the figures of the documentary.
