What a Scream Podcast

Whilst Beezel should be applauded for its creature design and effects, [....] the time era hopping leaves the film feeling disjointed, never allowing the audience to fully immerse themselves in or get familiar with the story and the world being built.

Maybe the worst horror movie I’ve ever seen (and I watch them all). Non sensical and just fail. Worst thing is, the first 10-15 minutes were actually encouraging and draws you in. Do not waste your time. So bad you can’t even make fun of it along the way because you can’t make sense of it.

Bad movie 👎it had certain elements to it but the ending and just the non existent scares were boring uncreative this movie didn’t not need to be an hour should’ve been a short film like get to the point also a very gross sexual film I hate when horror films have that cause it’s just unnecessary to get scared wish I could unwatch it to get my time back, so tired of watching bad horror films 😪

The pinnacle of the found-footage sub genre, its short sweet and gets right to the point. Taking heavy inspiration from the Evil Dead series as well as Paranormal Activity and The Visit, Beezel mixes all three elements of horror about as well as you can hope for... 8.2/10.

A VERY scary movie! Although when you think about it, the plot is hilarious. The first hour was crap your pants scary so I was sort of glad when the last half hour was slower and the female lead was a bit overly enthusiastic as an actress. I've seen about a million scary movies, but I watched so much of this movie through my hands that I had to watch a YouTube recap to make sure I understood it all! I liked/hated how they put the scariest shots of the movie right as you're already full of dread and wanting to look away. Great watch for a date! Probably not the movie to watch if you have kids.
