This film explores the devastation of divorce thoroughly. The harrowing experiences of the protagonist and her strength not only surmount the slide into disaster, but also the absurdities of life and relationships. Stellar cast. A real, hard won triumph of the human spirit with some help from friends and family.

Really? 100% critic and 73% audience? What did you all watch? This couple had zero connection. And ultimately, I can't imagine any of you were invested in anything that happened to them. Good closing song so at least I got a song out of this dull emotionless movie.

It was so refreshing to see an honest and poignant portrayal of a woman going through a divorce…it felt real not like some caricature of the idea of a divorce. (Anyone who is a member of the D club IRL knows what I'm talking about.) Often hilarious yet always painfully authentic in the storytelling and performances, I truly loved this film.
