      Jeff M A more appropriate title would be THE UNAUTHORIZED STORY OF ROBIN WILLIAMS DURING HIS YEARS ON MORK & MINDY. The film makes no attempt whatsoever to delve into the personal lives of anyone on the sitcom except Williams. Dawber is described by one character in the movie as a piece of furniture, and no argument is provided here to refute that remark. I don't know if it's more brave or foolhardy to take on the impossible task of portraying the once-in-a-millennium personality that was Williams, but I must say that Diamantopoulos not only doesn't embarrass himself but occasionally acquits himself nicely. He has the mannerisms and speech down pat, but what is missing is the spark of insane creativity - it's not necessarily a soulful performance. I enjoyed the film overall for what it is - nothing more, nothing less. Even when some of the performances veered into SNL caricature territory and when the screenplay glosses over some of the rougher moments of Williams' life, I consistently found myself interested if not necessarily engrossed.
