Maybe if I had viewed this before 2012, I would have liked "Being Elmo" a little more. But even then, I would have had to lean toward your average Slant magazine review that uses a lot of words to say "it was not good."

A very endearing and inspiring film. Though there are rumors and allegations that were not discussed in the film surrounding Kevin, his love for the craft and making others happy made for a whimsical, wholesome viewing experience.

There's a man behind Elmo and it's Kevin Clash. The movie is fine and if you make it about Elmo and the impact that character has had over so many lives it's worth watching. Hubby loved it, wife has had enough Elmo after all these years! Hubby: 9.5/Wife: 7.9 Average: 8.7/10
