Winnie S The film starts strong, like Monty Python at its best. The first slapstick after 15 minutes still fits well, but several repetition and especially the dialogues are already very uninspired. After half an hour, it's already heavy fare. But it gets worse: The clumsy infantile green ideology is unmistakable, especially with a serious ecological view. The value now lies at best in teaching how to make a bad movie. The second half is rather embarrassing, entertainment value is now missing. The value now lies at best in teaching how to make a bad movie. And how political ideals sometimes expose themselves over time. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/07/23 Full Review Tony B Absolutely beautiful movie, far ahead of it's time in it's concepts. Why it's been banned in several countries since 1995 will become obvious if you can find it and watch it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/04/23 Full Review erik k I loved this film. It is a "low tech/high concept" kind of film. It is driven by its vision of what the world could be, and how far our world fails by comparison. Instead of a civilization that nurtures life, art, creativity, compassion, and freedom, we have one that is a toxic dehumanizing stew, detached from nature and one another. Its one of those films that changes the way you see the world. I wish everyone would see it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member A fun and unique take on seeing earth from the perspective of (alien) people who live on another planet in a utopian haven. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is a forgotten gem. It's like the French Hippy Matrix. Never has a movie made me think or feel more differently about live on this planet. It's touching, funny, and clever.
