      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Below Her Mouth delivers two understated performances of intrigue leading the way for gratuitous erotica with no plot, no character development, unsavory dialogue, and enough nudity to bore.

W A This movie has terrible reviews, but I love it. So much that I've watched it multiple times. Very VERY rare thing for me. If you're not into lez don't watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/24 Full Review Yellowfur D I loved the red light and shadow on her, against her golden hair, casting shadows on the right side of her knife-carved face. I like that she walked to the balcony in a pink yukata and looked at the back of the roof opposite, the water gurgling like unbreakable lust. There are a lot of questions but I just like it, maybe Dallas is too handsome. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review The Real S This Movie Is Not Good I'll Not Watch It Again If You Want A Better Experience Watch Scales Meramids Are Real And Despicable Me 3 It's Way Better Than This Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/23 Full Review Paula F Am I meant to believe that this Eugenia Cooney look alike has the the stamina to do roofing all day and then have sex at least twice that evening. A true work of fiction. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/14/23 Full Review John K Nopes... If you like non-reality icy about real relationships...to my knowledge, lesbians do not act like this, band the dude might be even more wackos than the chicks. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I felt that this movie is TOXIC for me. I felt like the story doesn't match together and it's being comprehensively unconnected. I don't recommend that movie tbh. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Erin Sullivan Autostraddle The recycled dialogue and characters in this movie that haven't been updated to reflect a change in the tides... have absolutely no business being in a movie in the great year of our lord, 2017. Aug 17, 2021 Full Review Adam Nayman Cinema Scope Below Her Mouth's more significant claim to relevance is its all-female crew, but while Maya Bankovic's cinematography is typically fine, the production is unfortunately in the service of subpar material. Sep 28, 2017 Full Review Jude Dry indieWire It's a fittingly ambiguous title for a directionless film, late night fare that will be enjoyed by just as many horny men as horny teenage lesbians. Think of it as equal opportunity erotica. Rated: C- May 4, 2017 Full Review Matt Oakes Silver Screen Riot Inept romantic drama Below Her Mouth is awesomely bad. Rated: D- Nov 2, 2018 Full Review Christopher Llewellyn Reed Hammer to Nail Though at times nakedly exploitative, Below Her Mouth is nonetheless a powerful drama about two people falling deeply in love; beautiful erotica doesn't get much better. Jan 24, 2018 Full Review Gary M. Kramer Gay City News What Mullen's film lacks in a strong story, it makes up for in its charged eroticism. Some viewers may feel the need to head for the bathtub Dallas enjoys so blissfully. Nov 18, 2017 Full Review Read all reviews
