Michelle Orange Village Voice Beneath the Dark deserves better than its straight-to-basic-cable title, but not a whole lot better. Nov 2, 2010 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member It was ok. One of these kinds of movies where interpretation is your own. I like to deal in absolutes when watching a film. You made the film. You tell the story. It's ok. If you never see it? No kids. If you're bored? Watch it. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member a bit strange and boring Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Just curious how to end up in such place like this motel or does it really exist beyond the dark? Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie sounded good so I watched it. It was a boring hamster wheel to nowhere. It turned out to be a poor man's Shinning. Not worth your time. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review don s A bit confusing what with two storylines from different times (present and near past), intertwining without any explanation. It eventually comes together to make a modicum of sense and involves major spiritual overtones. Jamie-Lynn Sigler has a girl next-door quality I find charming and refreshing in this day and time. It was worth my time. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member so probably not necessarily a good movie... BUT because i wasn't giving it my full attention until about the very end, i didn't see the "twist" coming -- so that was good! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
