Peter Bradshaw Guardian Mainly the film is silly and unlikely... which is a shame because Caine can still bring it. Rated: 2/5 Nov 3, 2021 Full Review Tim Robey Daily Telegraph (UK) As an undemanding pas de deux, it's sweet enough. Rated: 3/5 Oct 21, 2021 Full Review Danny Leigh Financial Times Rather than bounce off each other, Plaza and Caine slide defeated side-by-side down the face of the movie. Rated: 2/5 Oct 14, 2021 Full Review Marya E. Gates Cool People Have Feelings, Too. (Substack) Plaza and Caine have wonderfully acerbic chemistry together and Roessler proves herself to be not only a great actor’s director, but has a great eye for composition as well. Feb 13, 2024 Full Review Marcelo Stiletano La Nación (Argentina) Luckily, the convincing performances disguise some of the film's vacillations. Especially Caine, who transforms his physical limitations into a permanent asset. [Full review in Spanish] Rated: 3/5 Oct 2, 2023 Full Review Nadine Whitney Mr. Movie's Film Blog Best Sellers is a film that does little to challenge and little to offend, and therein lies its central problem. There is just a sense of missed opportunities to really dive into something with much more wit and bite. Rated: 2.5/5 Sep 17, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Michael G. Kamau This movie was extremely well written and directed. The story is plausible and the scenarios are convincing. The brilliance in this movie are all the curveballs and twists that you just don't see coming. It is heart wrenching, funny, irreverent, embarrassing and delightful. It builds logically and intelligently until you are so engrossed that you are sure that you know about what is going to happen next. You are going to be wrong.... Anyone who has rated this movie poorly has only watched the trailer. The 'Best Sellers' movie is excellent! MGKamau Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/20/21 Full Review Rosana B Um tanto longo e entendiante, porém profundo e subjetivo, relacionamentos mal resolvidos tendem a gerar problemas insolucionáveis com o passar do tempo, tempo esse, considerado perdido… Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/28/24 Full Review S. S Enjoyed watching this film and appreciated the dynamic between Aubrey Plaza and Michael Caine. Worth watching once. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/03/24 Full Review Douglas B Damned with faint praise: it wasn't a waste of time. Plot was just so so and probably the weakest part. Plaza was good, I thought, but Caine was really good. It could have slipped into cliche for an elderly actor to play a crotchety old man but he pulled it off. He would have been forgiven for mailing it in, but he didn't. Do my take: two actors making the best of what was handed to them. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Rob W The plot was predictable and the script lamentable, with repeated and boring use of one faux swearword, which for obvious reasons I will not use. A truly awful film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/23/23 Full Review reb s Don't bother you know exactly how this silly film will end within the first minutes of watching it. Boring, silly, bad and obvious script. Not eve Michael Caine can save this. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Read all reviews
